Francis David Millet Brown


Colonel Francis David Millet Brown VC was a British recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Brown was born onAugust 1837 in Bhagalpur, India. He was educated at Grosvenor College, Bath, and from 185254 by a private tutor, Brisco Morland Gane, late curate of Honiton.
